AIR Conditioning smell.. Help

Bought a 2014 summit dealer demo with 10kmi.

The ac stinks like wet dog.

How do I clean it. I think it stinks more when i turn on the ac, and not so much with just air blowing, though it does smell a bit. The smell does go away after a while.

Will just changing the cabin air filter do it? Or is here some condenser cleaning that can be done? Need to get this handled, than you

Re: AIR Conditioning smell.. Help

Get a new cabin air filter. Easy to change. I recommend one with charcoal, either OEM or http://www.amazon.com/CF11183-Fresh-.../dp/B00EAOIR8O. That should take care of it.

Re: AIR Conditioning smell.. Help

check the drain too.

if cabin filter doesnt cut it, it needs an evap clean.

tell them to clean it up.

they can spray the cleaner into the evap usually trough the drain hole.

good way to make sure the drain is clear too.
