That vehicle phone message was fixed for me on the update 4.25. Something. You still get that? I used to prior to that update. I didnt want to take it in dealer cause i know they are a bunch of morons.

Since Ford appears to have finked on Chrysler, maybe they'd offer a good deal on a Ford Exploder?

Don't look now, but the sky is falling.

Both links above say some 2014's.
Excellent question. I haven't seen anything yet that would give a build date range.
Probably too early for the paperwork to have been created and released yet.

You can get out of a lease. It will cost you money but it can be done. I traded in a Explorer I leased one time and I had only had it 4 months into a 24 month lease.

In other words I'm wondering is if the module that they put in my Jeep back in June still has this issue or is this the same issue and I'm good. Just trying to figure out if I will need to replace OCR module for the 2nd time.

What a PITA. Lost count of those recalls. Did one or two, two are sitting on my desk (brake booster and vanity wire) and now this. Apparently there is one more in the works (voluntary recall) for axles. Did I count 6? Will not even mention numerous trips to the dealer to Vehicle Phone Requires Service issue and transmission flashes.

At 14K and 1.5years I would argue that I just broke in the engine ... ;-)
I was out test driving today. My Jeep hasn't given me a lot of trouble, but after 2 seasons of poor fishing I don't really need a beach capable vehicle. So far a well equipped Escape is pulling ahead. It has a capless fuel filler so it must be good. It also has a cd player in addition to the USB and SD ports.

I have a couple of recall notices I'll leave in the Jeep's glove compartment.

Re: Airbag Recall

Have to say. I am sad reading all of these troubles folks are having

This is my fourth GC and each time I upgrade. My first two were WJ Limited 4.7 V8. My third a HEMI Limited 2006 and my latest the Hemi Summit

I love the vehicle as far as all the trinkets but an disheartened by all the recalls and troubles

Dealer cannot figure most issues out

The button on the rear hatch has only worked once.
The vehicle screams intermittently while driving that the key is no longer in the vehicle
The navigation freezes and locks for about 20 minutes when you connect your cell or iPod. ( does not always do this so can't determine a pattern).

Jeep has tried to help me reset the computers but the dealers have no idea what is going on and Chrysler/Jeep has tried to help over the phone without being successful

I do believe these vehicles spawn. Love/hate relationship that stems from the frustration of the technology and the choice of parts used

Overall the coolest feature is the air suspension that lifts an extra 3" off the ground and allows me to to go off roading, climbing hills and going through mud holes

Truly an amazing vehicle!

Yes, great idea.. spend MORE money on a piece of junk to get rid of it? no way.. I will continue to bring it in to be repaired till they take it back (or have wasted tons of their money fixing the junk they sold me)

Yeah, this is my 4th jeep... never had a single problem with previous models (wait, there was one brake rotor recall). All I see now when looking at the added features of the more expensive models is more things that can break. I am glad I only got a low end limited. Not even a sunroof.

You got that right. I must be a glutton for punishment. I always get all the bells and whistles but jesh; you said it best. More to go wrong.

Crap, come to think of it...maybe i should have gotten that extended warranty like the finance broad offered me. Was ONLY an extra $12 a month.
