Airbag Recall

Any rumors about recalling the 2012 WK2 airbags? Looks like a possible nation wide recall... Not sure which vehicles there talking about though.

Re: Airbag Recall

I'm on this forum every day and have not seen any new talk about the airbags. It's all over the news now so I figure a search would be old news...
Thanks

Re: Airbag Recall

As far as recalls go, the only time you'll know for sure if your vehicle is being recalled, is when you get the letter in the mail.

Re: Airbag Recall

Actually there are two website resources to check if your car is affected

This Mopar one basically says yes or no with no detail.

https://www.moparownerconnect.com/OC...shboard%2Easpx

This lists the actual recalls and their details.

Re: Airbag Recall

The model years are not all that accurate for all cars.

Take my Subaru for instance: the 2005 Legacy is listed as an affected vehicle. It turns out that probably NOT the Legacy GTs (turbo?) or maybe as of the 25th of October, in the morning, the database had not been updated by Subaru ?

Yet every list on every site I see, lists the the 2005 Subaru Legacy as an affected vehicle due to the TAKATA airbag defects.
