Alarm goes off with Key FOB

I had been two strange issues with my FOB key this week, last friday, I tried to start my GC with remote starter, I pushed the button twice and the alarm went off, I press unlock and alarm stop, today in the parking lot in mall I tried to activate the open back door remote function, and once again the alarm went off, I am trying to recreate the situation, but nothing, some clue for this?????

Somebody else with the same problem???

Yes, it's happened 4x's, all after heavy rains but I'm not ready to say it's a direct correlation. Monitoring, have not addressed with dealer yet, just started happening last 3 weeks.

Re: Alarm goes off with Key FOB

I too am having issues with the "alarm" - the cause seems to be random - leading me to believe that there may be a bug involved. I have had the "panic alarm" go off - when I didn't touch the panic button - 3-4 times over the last 2 months.

I asked a buddy of mine that works at the dealership to see if there was a TSB or software flash to make this "random" issue go away.

Re: Alarm goes off with Key FOB

My alarm system kept going off for no reason when my GC was parked in my driveway in the middle of the daytime. I didn't have time to take it to the dealer for repairs but was told to lock the doors manualy instead of using the remote and it worked temporarily until I got it to the shop. Same goes for my wifes mercedes. PUSH EACH DOOR LOCK DOWN BY HAND AND THEN CLOSED THE DOOR. PUSH THE DRIVERS DOOR LOCK DOWN BY HAND AND THEN CLOSE OR EITHER LOCK THE DOOR WITH THE KEY WHICH IS INSIDE THE REMOTE.
