Re: AMSOIL for Differential & Transfer Case

dont forget your power steering fluid and brake fluid.

How much pearl was in the fluids you drained out?

Must of looked nasty at 50k miles.

I didn't notice a lot of pearl. I could have left the transfer case alone if I wanted to. It wasn't too dark. The rear diff absolutely needed to be changed. The front wasn't nearly as dark but I'm glad I changed it.

Re: AMSOIL for Differential & Transfer Case

I must have missed this! Sorry I am late to the party, but I did a DIY on this a while back. Hope it helps someone else.
DIY- 2011 Differential Service/ Fluid Change

FWIW, there are about 10,000 miles (3000 of which towing) on my current fill of Amsoil Severe Gear. No noise or chatter even over the winter with all the sliding in the snow.
