Not sure... Dealer got it from another dealer. I asked for a build sheet through Milous but have not gotten it yet. Did not see the build month listed anywhere else...

I believe the build date will be on the drivers door sticker.

Here is a quick video of it acting up this morning. I don't even care that my LP is clear...

I guess I'll be spending most of my time in Socal instead of Norcal during the rainy season. I really hope mine doesn't do that lol I will never hear the end of it from some anti Chrysler friends. I'm still confused what's the drain for so when you have the sunroof opened and it rains?

I really don't understand how you can make a statement like that. As far as I know, the only thing that is absolutely sure is that we will all die. I'm pretty comfortable with the odds on that, but would you care to wager that every JGC is destined for a catastrophic electric failure?

They say it will take a few days to get the new drain. I need to call them back though, cause I can't imagine the computer is fine and dandy after that...
I think the main computer is located right under the driver's seat, but there are so many CPU-operated devices in the car, it could be somewhere else. If it is the one under the driver's seat, I can't imagine how the sunroof drain would be rigged to go anywhere near it! Maybe it just leaked down on the driver's seat before you got the vehicle and you haven't had it sitting out in the rain since then. I also wouldn't doubt the ground problem that was mentioned before. That has apparently hit quite a few of the new Jeeps.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed...7,000 miles and zero problems on my 2014 Overland...but then again it hasn't rained much here in Northern California since I got it in April!

Many years ago, when the airline I worked for started receiving new fleet type deliveries, most everything was fine except for some minor electrical glitches. Then one day everything went dark in the all electronic cockpit. Luckily the weather was good and the plane landed safely. The problem was traced to a leak in the forward galley(ice bin) that had gone through the floor to the electronics bay shorting out the primary and backup electrical systems.

I got mine in mid March (central coast, CA) and I've yet to have to use the wipers yet since I know I haven't driven it in the rain yet.

Re: And so it continues...

yes -- drain over the computer - similar to building data centers in basements - under water pipes overhead - and subject to flooding.. Interesting -- I couldn't help but chuckle at your possessed jeep. I wonder - given the track record of Chrysler - how these cars will hold up over time... maybe 2 or 3 years and done?

I'm shocked at how many jeeps I see in CA especially in San Francisco where the hybrid is revered and the SUV is frond upon
