I purchased a '02 Dodge Stratus from Enterprise in the same model year with just under 12k miles and it lasted until I decided to buy new in '08 with 130k miles on it. Find out where they service their vehicles and/or get a record of service to verify maintenance.

Re: And so it continues...

AMC, just curious, have you checked out any of the GM lambda platform vehicles, or are they too large. I had a Buick Enclave for almost 6 years. Really loved it, but tranny issues eventually scared me away. The new ones are a lot better though.

Beautiful vehicles, but yeah, too large. Always loved the Lambda vehicles. The Acadia is gorgeous design-wise, and the interior of the Enclave is stellar. I love the blue strip that goes around the inside. Gorgeous.

But too big, and with the equipment we'd want, a bit out of the price range (and the MPG hopes).

If you haven't already done so, check out the Acura RDX. Not small or big, might be the right fit for you and within price range.

Those GM triplets have be about the ugliest crossover or suv's or whatever they call them on the road. They are really just front wheel drive cars, but I don't what they were thinking when they designed those. They look like they used a big bloated dead fish for inspiration.

Yep....might as well get a minivan.

Seriously. ..with all the tech features consumers are demanding....EVERY automaker is having problems.

Yep my S5 literally turned off on the bay bridge today and lit up like a Xmas tree that was some scary ass shit. Soon as it gets out the shop I'm trading it in on a Srt. That was the second car from 2 different automakers to do that to me.

A friend of mine is on his third Enclave in just a few years ... And he can't blame GM. The first was sitting in his driveway when somebody lost control, hit it into his brick garage and continued to push it onto his neighbor's front lawn. He liked it so much he replaced it. That one was swallowed by Sandy. He is hoping that third one's a charm.

I've been seeing ads for a smaller Buick, possibly their version of the Terrain. It might be worth looking at.
