Re: Another Uconnect Glitch?

What does the dealer you bought it from have to say about it?

There are two different UConnect systems

RA3 does not have NAV, RA4 does.

RA3 can have NAV added to it, but not, I believe the UConnect Access features.

Re: Another Uconnect Glitch?

Im in on this. I have a September build and did the upgrade. It seemed to happen to me even with a full regular start but I'll check. More than just auto comfort wont stick. Its a few items and even more on Driver 2. Driver two was a mess, nothing looks set at all in that mode. No park sense, fcs, air suspension etc.

Also, this may sound dumb, but does this truck not auto lock itself when you leave the vehicle with the fob?

Angry Re: Another Uconnect Glitch?

Why thankfully. I have keyless for that reason. So I can get out and walk away. At least have the option like every other car. Oh, and let me select it without reverting!

As an option it would be ok. I seldom lock my car. It is never locked when home. I often put things in and take things out of my Jeep. I seldom carry the fob unless I'm going somewhere.

Re: Another Uconnect Glitch?

None of my keyless cars have auto locked. Nor have they reminded me to clean the cat box. I like my independence.

Incorrect. BOTH have NAV already installed (the RA4 with a better version with more features). One simply needs an activation code to "turn on" the NAV in the RA3.

With my RA3, I could unlock/lock the doors and start the vehicle using my laptop.

I've personally never come across a car that automatically locks when you walk away with a fob or ever had the option. Curious which manufactures have this? (for reference my past BMW M5, Lexus ES, and Acura TL didnt even offer it, just keyless open/lock).

Re: Another Uconnect Glitch?

Just came from an 11 SRX that locked by stepping away with the systems of and fob in pocket.
Came from 11 CTS coupe that did the same.

Had a viper in 97 that locked after 30 seconds. Passive arming has been around in MANY vehicles for years. As for not locking a car, I grew up in Brooklyn, simply not an option or in my genetics.

Either way even if it had that, you need to be able to set it and have that setting stay, which is doesn't and why I am on this topic. So, any help?
