Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

New Problem this morning: one of the rear window defroster grid lines doesn't work. It's one right in the middle of the window, so it's right in the line of sight. On a chilly morning like today it took about 5 minutes for the other grid lines' heat to get to this area, but in the winter when the windows are frosty I know it will take longer. I'll be digging out my multimeter tonight to test for sure if the grid line is bad and if so will be setting up another appointment with the service department.

check the plug for that area of the defrost...couldve pulled loose during cleaning of the window etc.

Thanks, but there are no exposed plugs on the WK2. Everything is hidden behind a plastic tube-like cover that goes around the perimeter of the window.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

Is the shudder problem mentioned basically the same that the WK 5.7's experienced?

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

Hmmmm. I had water coming through my roof today when I went outside by the overhead console with the garage door opener buttons and sunroof buttons, not a whole lot but some. Sunroof was completly closed, was parked on a slight downhill (front down) and we had a lot of rain last night. But still thats no good, going to have to have it checked, too bad I am leaving for camping trip for the next week. It may just be a bad seal on the sun roof, but I hope it doesnt rain that much this week.
