It may just be a bad seal on the sun roof, but I hope it doesnt rain that much this week.
Early Enclaves had leaky sunroofs, which led to damaged electronics and other issues. Turned out that the rubber drain tubes were a tad short and tended to disconnect just above the headliner. Buick eventually lengthened the hoses for production, but repairs were a complicated nightmare to carry out and didn't always succeed the first time.

On GC '98 there were drain holes in the corners of sunroof opening. Drain pipes go through the A-pillar. Over the time drain pipe clogged on my jeep and water started getting inside. Got flooded a couple of times before I figured what the problem was. This is why my new Jeep will not have sunroof.

Another possibility in winter is water will freeze in drain pipes.

In your case car is new, so highly unlikely drain pipe is clogged. Maybe it is pinched or something? Find drain holes and try squirting water inside from the water bottle, see if it drains.

Another possibility for water leakage is the windshield seal. I had water coming into the cockpit of my '04 GC through a gap in the caulked seal between the glass & the frame.

Maybe you left it slightly open, and thought it was closed, that happened a few time to my 1995 jeep, going into the car wash the roof appeared to be closed, but was slightly open.

I think it definitely has to do with the sunroof rather than windshield because of the angel I was parked at and the edge of the windshield appears to be below the area the water was coming in.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

I'm getting tired of the Mercedes key fob they chose to use for this Jeep. The buttons are not inset; they protrude out of the device. This means that my phone, other keys, whatever is in my pocket hit the buttons when I walk by the car. I've set off the panic four times already and managed to remote-start it twice. Frustrating.

My Laredo X developed a nasty rattle in the dashboard within a day of owning it. It's one of those odd ones where depending on where you are in the car you could swear you know where it's coming from but be wrong. Driver thinks it's the way right side of the dashboard, passenger says it's the far left side. Maybe it's the middle. Bringing it into the dealer to get fixed sometime in the next few weeks.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

My husband has toggled the Drive into lower gears a couple times while driving, if you bump the shift gear handle it is apparently a little to easy to do by mistake.

I was experiencing the same thing in mine over the weekend; was infuriated that my new Jeep had such a bad rattle in the dashboard that I just couldn't pin down; was cursing Jeep engineers for doing such a half-ass job designing this POS!.....

Turned out, it was my own sunglasses rattling around in the upper sunglass holder....

I wuv my jeep...

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

I've been driving mine for about a month - it is so quiet that anything that rattles is noticeable. My sunroof had a cross-threaded screw which they fixed at the dealership. Other than that all other rattles have been caused by stuff I'm toting around, not the Jeep.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

Good point! Need to make sure I didn't cause the rattle before an embarrasing trip to the dealer....
