I have the exact same issue! Im gonna try to find some more foam to attach to the top tof the holder to try to hold the glasses still while driving.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

Well, that was embarrassing. Turns out the rattle was the sunglasses in the holder after all! I swear, it sounded nowhere near the holder. Multiple people looked for the sound of the source and came up empty. It even rattled with the bass from the speakers!

Gotta love JeepGarage...it saved me an even more embarrassing trip to the dealer to fix a self induced problem. I can only imagine the other problems they may have created ripping open the dashboard looking all over the place for it!

All though.... I do have to wonder if there others who are thinking the very same thing. Jeep may want to revisit the design or something, if nothing to reduce potential mistaken warranty claims. The BSR guys somehow missed this...

Kinda makes me not want to use the sunglass holder anymore....not worth the trouble for how often I use them.

For me, the CommandView sunroof has a rattle already (I have a love/hate relationship with sunroofs... I love having them, but every one I've had rattles), and the center console USB port only reads the music off my iPod about one out of every ten tries.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

Since it's a cable system, the rattle could simply be that one cable is more loose than the other, and chatters in the track. This could be a simple adjustment by the dealer.

Are you sure this is not sunglasses in the holder?

my sunroof rattled also, took it into the dealer and they diagnosed it as a cross-threaded screw which they replaced. It resolved the issue.

Re: Any glitches after weeks of driving?

Got my JGC limited yesterday and the navigation and features do not work (navigation gives an error that database is not installed, phone feature is disabled). Dealer ordered a new radio unit. Other than that, it is a great vehicle.
