Go to any Jeep dealership to service your vehicle. Who cares even if there is a crazy there or not. The OWNER of the dealership will be on YOUR side as they want your business...service business first with the hopes of earning your sale business in the future. I have rarely serviced my Jeep at any dealership that I have bought one threw. They don't care where you bought it as most dealerships make their money on service anyway... I knew someone that owned a truck dealership, he made his money on service and if sold some considered it a bit of bonus money.

Don't give it a second thought, just go to the service dealership that gives you the best service that is most convenient for you.

As far as asking where you bought it, I don't think they have to ask. It should be right on their computer screen when they type in the VIN.

I told my local dealer (whom I bought my last WK2 from) about the price I could order an SRT for from the group buy and they told me they couldn't touch that deal since their allotment of SRTs is very low and I would be stupid not to go to TX to get it. Anyways, the Jeep had a door that needed to be aligned which I didn't notice until I got back home. My local dealer had no issues fixing it even thought it was purchased out of state. IMHO, a service department is a separate entity from the sales department and I can't see a service department turning away a customer as that is how the dealership makes a lot of their money.

Also, I sold my old WK2 to my dad and he has had no issues getting it serviced at a dealer close to his house. Why would a dealer discriminate...what if you purchase a vehicle and then move to somewhere else. Obviously you aren't going to travel back to your old home/place of purchase just for service.

Dealer Service Departments are typically separate profit centers from vehicle sales and outside of a few undoubtedly whacko businesses out there, they generally will welcome your business. Service departments generate significant profit for dealerships! Even for warrantee work they make money.

As already stated, if you have the Mopar MaxCare Extended Service Contract and it includes a rental benefit (the lifetime certainly does), then that benefit is available to you regardless of what dealer service department is doing the work.

Op I see you are from Long Island. Their are lot of CDjR dealers in both county's. Some I have heard are really good and others so so. If any of your fellow Long Island members can chime in they can further help you in finding a service center. I know Westbury is a zoo and it depends who you get as a service writer and tech.

Where I go, they have a pretty good reputation in the city. But now, they are getting customers from different dealerships and the place is getting backed up. I brought mine in Dover N.J.

This actually now ticks me off that you had to experience this. With all that is going on with Jeep at the moment, it further tarnish's their image after carefully rebuilding it with the WK2 and other new products.

I would with out hesitation send your details to Chrysler and let them know what happened with this service center. Quality control has be not limited to the factory, but it has to be included in the after care of the purchase. Customer service in the service center Such behavior effects the name brand as a whole.

I bought my jeep from a dealership over an hour away, never took it there for service or anything. I went to one local dealership and they gave me the run around on a few things like they didn't know what I was asking (never went back to them). I go the other dealer here and they have been very good on things. I have used the shuttle everytime with no problems. They don't normally offer a loaner but they had to keep my vehicle last week as they didn't finish up the job by the time I needed it, so they gave me a 2014 Ram crew cab v8 for the night. They never asked where I bought it or how much I paid (I think the dealer plate bracket is still on the back though).

That warranty is between you and FCA, not between you and any individual dealer.
I'd complain loudly to Jeep help line about any dealer that fails to honor that warranty as written--then being mean, I'd probably sue the bastards in small claims court for fraud.

Some dealers will welcome you with open arms.... others you should be prepared with a sprig of mistletoe to pin on the rear of your pants as you leave.

I have low opinions of Jeep service but this is a new one even for me. I have had 3 different Jeeps that have visited over a dozen dealerships over the years and never have I been asked where I bought any of them. That said, the loaner car issue is a huge, huge problem with Jeep. It wouldn't shock me if some dealer had a "loaners only available for those that bought a car here" since Jeep doesn't require them to provide loaners ever. Your Maxcare warranty only gives you rental reimbursement.

For the maxcare rental the dealer makes the reservation for the rental car and they pay for it directly, i have never paid a dime on a rental car. Many of the dealers have the rental cars onsite at the dealer and if they dont they provide shuttle service to the rental car. I just tell them i want a car when i make the appointment for service and its there at the dealer when i drop my jeep off. It is a comparable vehicle also to what you drop off not some subcompact. Thats how it works at all the dealers i have been at for the 8 or 9 times i have got a rental in the last year and a half. The rental service works well the unfortunate part is i have had to use it that many times.
