Re: Any shutter On newer builds

Mine was Built 6/14. 1k miles so far and no shudder. A couple of times the transmission seems to downshift too late or too soon while stopping but, nothing as drastic as people describe in some posts here. I'm assuming that it is just learning how I drive still. Overall very smooth transmission so far. I just have to get used to how fast it wants to move through the gears. We are all used to driving 5-6 speed trannys so we have to adapt to a new shift pattern caused by more gears. Once we get used to that they will come up with 10-12 speed transmissions that we will all complain about.

Re: Any shutter On newer builds

My KL was built in June 14, and it shuddered (wobbled ) from day 1. Now at 2000 miles, still wobbles at 1800-2200 RPM, 2nd to 3rd gear shift when the trans is over 150 degrees. Had the software checked, but I have the latest. So the next step is the replacement axles and a new trans mount. But many others say they went this route and the wobble comes back in about 300-400 miles. Some have even had the entire trans replaced, and the wobble remains. One owner said his tech put in 4 washers under each of the 3 engine/trans mounts that lowered the entire transaxle and changed the geometry of the axles. Initially this worked, but I haven't heard back if that solved the problem. Many people have been told there is a bulletin #S142100022 that has 13 steps to try to have this wobble fixed.

Others with a build date in June also have this problem, so it's still out there.

Re: Any shutter On newer builds

My 2011 Overland Summit with the 5.7 Hemi with 25k miles shutters like crazy. The TSBs I have seen seem to apply only to ones built in 2010. Mine was built in March of 2011. Newer TSBs seem to address 2012 and later... Hmmm.
