lmao...nah I'm very picky on who gets to ride in my GC.

Especially now with the new seats. I'm constantly telling the wife "don't slide out" she basically has to hop out HAHA!

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

did you ever get another AQ and get it to work? Wanted to switch mine out. I emailed justforjeeps since they don't list the AP anymore, they did not know if it would work.

I never did get the AQ to work. I sent the original part back to moparparts and order the AP from justforjeeps - naturally, they sent me the AQ so I thought I would try it anyway and got the same problem.

I e-mailed them and they sent me an AP (apparently one of the last ones in the country, according to their e-mail). And it works perfectly (auto-adjust and everything).

Hopefully you can find an AP. I don't know why the AQ didn't work for my jeep, while other people saying it worked fine

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

Has anyone recently bought the new AQ auto climate control unit from an online vendor and have the display work properly?

part #55111916AQ (without Heated or Ventilated Seats)

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

I bought the 55111916AQ for my 13 GC Laredo and have the same display problems. I'm assuming if I can find an AP it should work? Anyone have one for sale or does anyone want an AQ?

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

Does anyone know if the 11-13 Dodge Durango ATC will work in the 11-13 Grand Cherokee? They look identical except the Durango has a button for the rear section.

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

Hello guys ..
I was trying to find 55111916AP
But it's not available any more. And according to what I read the only one works with GC 2011 (w/o heated or ventilated seats) now since I can't find it. Does anyone know what other part works ? I don't mind having extra buttons for heating.. Etc even they don't work.

Should I go for 68111109AQ or 6111110AQ ?
Anyone tried them ?

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

Just to followup on this thread, you can't use the 55111916AQ at all on a 2012 WK2? Even if you were to take it to the dealer? I know that some
items like the tow harness may need a "reprogram" to intro the component.

Thanks. I have a AQ I just received and didn't read this thread beforehand

Re: Auto Climate Control Display Problems

Just to followup a bit.

Disconnecting the battery for 30 min didn't help.

I did stop by the dealership this morning. They aren't completely sure whether it would work or not. They were willing to update the vehicle, but if the update didn't take correctly, they mentioned that a new BCM might be required.

Sooo... The AQ is going back and I'll wait for a AP to show up one day

Steve
