Automatic Headlamp sensitivity (HID)

Anyone here with the automatic HID system run into any sensitivity issues in the evenings? My lights can't seem to find a happy medium at dusk.
Have been noticing this the past few days on my commute home. Pretty much straight/level highway heading almost directly into the sun, lights can't seem to find a happy medium. On for a few seconds, then off for a few.

Anyone aware if the headlight sensitivity is user adjustable?

NO, the sensitivity is not adjustable. I've noticed this too around sunset driving in and out of the setting sun.

Simple solution, turn the auto lights off (put it in the off or on position, whatever you preference is) until the sun sets.

I've had the same problem with every car that had auto headlamps, some to a lesser and some to a greater degree. Overall the WK2 seems to be no more sensitive or buggy than my Porsche, VW, Volvo, Ford or Chevy were.
