Balance Clips on Radiator fan?

Why I haven't seen these before I'm not sure.. Anyhow, has anybody seen these clips on their fan blades? I thought blade balance however, I'm not convinced, so they are being removed. Just wondering if they have been seen before?

Re: Balance Clips on Radiator fan?

make sure you mark them so you can put them back where they were.. after your fan starts vibrating

Re: Balance Clips on Radiator fan?

If you suspect they are from the factory and for balancing a rotating mass, but you have no idea what their actual job is, your first thought is to remove them? If you go under the jeep there'll be some similar little square things attached to your driveshafts, pull them too.

Re: Balance Clips on Radiator fan?

Ok so baddy worded. Being removed, if no body has these on their fan. Happy for the comments but would have preferred if you could have advised if you have them or not. They may be common on the jeep however, I have not seen them on any other car I have owned. I'd be very happy to be proven wrong and be able so say that Jeep ensures each fan has been balanced to a very fine tolerance.

Sorry I don't use smilies that was complete sarcasm not smart azz. Yes leave them alone as they unfortunately solve a problem that the manufacturer couldn't during production.
