Anyone else notice that Jeep has grown their sales so fast that the dealers can't keep up with service?
On the last service appointment for routine maintenance and one power steering issue on the 2012, it was in the shop for 2 days before it was even looked at, and I was told there is a 300 vehicle backlog. The service manager helped me to resolve the situation but I'm really wondering if better alternatives are out there.
Thanks for constructive ideas.
I live in Dallas at roughly Inwood and Royal and I'm on my 5th Jeep - a 2015 GC Limited Diesel 4x4 - had her for about a month now. At the end of the day even Jeeps need service and repair, with that in mind I did a lot of digging and visiting. I went with Frisco Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. You know the lay of the land around here there's a Jeep place about 2.9 miles from me that I won't set foot in. My dealer/service is pushing 20 miles from here and I'll gladly make that trip every time assuming I don't have to push.
And at the risk of sounding like a princess I'm used to Sewell Lexus and Park Place MB level service - Frisco Jeep isn't at that level but they've been surprisingly close so far. I was sick on delivery day my sales guy and his boss drove my new rig to my house without making a big deal out of it. It was 100% full of diesel, DEF, spotlessly clean, the hitch I had asked for was added perfectly and the wiring flashed.
If you'd like, assuming there's a DM/PM functionality here, I'll forward you my sales and service contact information.
