Re: Bi-xenon auto leveling system not working properly

What a mess!!! This last time my truck was in the shop they installed two new headlights a body control module four ride height sensors and used a wi-tech scan tool to recalibrate the auto leveling system. No dice a waste of time parts and my money. Chrysler says next step is to contact the person that designed / engineered it, will see. At some point the must of had some down time because they decided to perform two recalls p36 / p14. The p36 will ruin your headliner and they removed the upper half of all the weather stripping. (More road noise)
P14 will tweak your brake lines and get you broken push tab clips on the cowl cover. This wasn't even a recall but they did it anyway power train module flash
30203 flashed pcm per tsb 18-027-13 is what the paper work says. This has my tranny doing weird stuff. Hard shifts , a hard to explain humming noise and I swear it's been slipping on me, after placing it in park the truck lunges forward when brake is released. My truck has been raped by incompetent ASE certified Chrysler machanics. You think it can't happen to you but it does beware the recall are here and your next. If you take your truck in for anything they have to perform the recall service. This is honestly one of the most helpless feelings I've ever had my truck is so different now. And this is only half of what they've jack up.

I really wish I had an answer to this problem but if the heads at Chrysler can't figure it out its obviously something major. Now for the good news.... ITS A LEMON and Chrysler is buying it back "what a relief " 2 1/2 years of trying to fix the lights had us at the end of our rope and literally hating our dealership and the people involved at star care. You can only be told it's fixed so many times before getting very annoyed. So in 4-6 weeks we will have a 2015 GC that we hope has no major problems. We have owned a 1996 a 2000 a 2005 a 2008 a 2011 and a 2013 soon to be 2015 and we love jeeps and all it stands for but the 2011 and the 2013 have been been nothing but trouble for us.now we are leery of what the 2015 will bring, there's nothing quite like the grand Cherokee and it would be a sad day if we stopped buying them but at the first sign of trouble we just might trade it for a different brand hate to say it but were not going though this again. Maybe quality has gotten better now that Fiat is in the picture, Maybe it got worse. I would love for my next post to be all about how great our 2015 is. Only time will tell
