Re: Biggest Disappointment

That I can't fully disable ESC! Really bad mistake in the design. Could have been so easy to add this feature

The water that collects in the rear spoiler. Always water gushing down the window the next day after washing.

Re: Biggest Disappointment

I think my biggest disappointment (though I don't own one) is that is won the "Urban Truck of the Year Award," as well as the fact that it does not have a solid front axle. I test drove one and I loved it and would really like to own one some day, but it just makes me sad that every new GC model seems to be drifting further away from Jeep's rugged 4x4 heritage.

I thought about that (waiting on the ZF 8spd) but having driven several vehicles with the 8spd gearbox, that's just too much shifting and would drive me crazy. Perhaps it would work with the V6 (better off-the-line) but the 545RFE works perfectly with the Hemi. Imagine going off-road and having the transmission constantly changing gears, because that's what the 8spd does in the BMW and Audi vehicles and I find it annoying.

I have zero disappointment and that both surprises and pleases me.

Didn't cover it in a review cause I was trying hard to like it, but just can't get over it.

Overall? Not much of anything material to be disappointed in.
+ 1. I have several other design annoyances that I will cover in my review soon.

I was fortunate enough to get to borrow a Lexus IS-F for a weekend with an 8-speed sport shift and it was seriously way too much. like it was nice to be able to have it exactly where you wanted in the powerband but it took so long to find the right gear for what you wanted. downshifting to a stop was in no way better either. 6 gears definitely would have sufficed. I agree that the 545 is a good enough tranny and I'm sure as hell not looking forward to a Jeep with 8 gears.
