You can turn this off in the EVIC program using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel.

Re: Biggest Disappointment

They're more annoying then disappointing but the super sensitive automatic headlights and the iPod interface of the 430N get my vote.

I also don't like the analog speedometer. I can see it in normal driving position, but on a bright day with sunglasses on, the needle is too dark to see. Need to use the EVIC speedo.

I so agree! It would have been much better if they put those in a read out display down low below the air conditioning modules. Or at least have dimmed them a little. I have never had a vehicle where they were so bright!! lol.

Re: Biggest Disappointment

Side mirrors are too big and get in the way when making turns....maybe it's just me but I do have the seat up pretty high.

Re: Biggest Disappointment

-The infamous "shudder" issue it's getting really annoying.
-The cup holder area doesn't have wood grain same with the shift knob like it was in the brochure I was shown at the dealership. (False Advertising, Overland)
-Cheesy plastic chrome accents, mirrors, grill, etc, had to cover with 3m/paint (personal preference)
-Interior roof fabric and A-pillar colors don't match the leather. (personal preference, I like it all black inside, not black and beige.
-No key fob confirmation on remote start.
-Keyless entry sensor too sensitive, unlocks when snow/rain drips in between door handles.
-No power mirrors

That's all I can think of for now but besides that this car has matched my expectations. The offroad capabilities are awesome I took it to the spot where I was stuck last year in a 08 range rover supercharged but the jeep drove through it like a piece of cake.

The pre-production model shown at the New York Auto Show a couple of years ago had a woodgrain cup holder cover, as well as woodgrain on the steering wheel. When Jeep introduced the production model, those items were gone (no sliding cup holder cover at all, and the woodgrain shift knob changed to leather). The dealer must have had a VERY old brochure!

Woodgrain on the cup holders would have been overkill with wood. Also the cup holder door would have shrunk the size of the cup holders. The shifter nob would have been a nice touch.
