Shocked that a Jeep dealer would go to those lengths to resolve an issue. Definitely the exception rather than the norm.

Re: Blind Spot Detection System

Dealer finally fixed my BSM issue! I would note they also did software updates for the PCM, TCM and HVAC along with the recall (reprogram of the BCM). If anyone goes to the dealership for service make sure they are performing all of the updates.

Re: Blind Spot Detection System

Has anyone ever got the fix for this - just recently after 8 months of working flawless my Blind Spot monitoring stopped working - no triangles in the mirrors and Blind Spot Unavailable Service Required in EVIC. I dropped it at the dealer today, they did the TSB to install the stuffer in the sub woofer area but that didn't resolve it. They claim there are no errors in the system. They have left a message with Startech but no response yet. They haven't a clue but are thinking of replacing the rear right sensor. I doubt this is the problem. Any ideas or things I can try would be appreciated.

Re: Blind Spot Detection System

Hello there. My issue was resolved by whatever the system tells them is the side that has the issue, it was the opposite. For example, if the system tells them the right side is not working, it is the left side that needs to be replaced. It has something to do with the mirror in the door. Not the sensor in the back rear of the Jeep. That is what happened to mine.

Glad to hear it. Any reason in particular it took so long to get fixed?

I was told the part was on backorder from Michigan and took 2 weeks for delivery, the other delay was that I was on vacation and didn't want anyone touching it prior to departing

That makes sense. I'm glad to hear you had a successful though.
