Blue Smoke

Ive noticed a few times that when I start up my WK2, i get a blue smoke. I have a 2011 Limited with less than 10k miles on it, and I just had an oil change recently. This is how it looks.

I went to the mall today, and I turned on my Jeep and out came all of this exhaust. Mind you, its about 85 degrees outside so is not warm exhaust showing in the cold. Do I need to take back to dealership? Will the warranty cover this?

Nope Jeep will do nothing about it and calls it "normal". Many people have this problem and there is no fix that I know of to date. This is one of the many ongoing problems with the WK2 that Jeep just wont or cant fix. GOOD LUCK.

I just purchased a brand new 2012 Overland V8 and it smokes on startup about every 4th time I start it. It'll blow out an embarrassingly huge smelly cloud. It's only got about 400 miles on it and has been doing this since day 2 of ownership. I've got a service appointment next week (for documentation of the problem if nothing else). I've owned 7 brand new vehicles previous to this one and none of them did anything like this. Like some posters on a similar thread, my driveway has a slight incline and it seems to smoke worse when it's been in "park down" mode on the QL. I hope there is eventually some resolution to this problem.
