Bluetooth pairing with LG G3 not working?

I had my galaxy s2 paired perfectly but now after upgrading phones, the jeep isnt even having my new phone show up in bluetooth when trying to pair it. Any help?

Something never clearly explained is that there are several versions of bluetooth. Just because your phone may have bluetooth doesn't necessarily mean it will pair with Uconnect. To make things even more odd it is the more expensive phones that seem to have problems while my inexpensive, pay as you go, Tracfone pairs and works perfectly with Uconnect.

Re: Bluetooth pairing with LG G3 not working?

Personally I think LG cell phones suck.

I had an LG P700 that had constant syncing issues with my 2014 GC (at first I thought it was a Jeep issue)...ditched it for a Samsung Galaxy S4 two weeks ago...absolutely no issues now.

LOL... I have an old Motorola VE20 flip phone (5-6 years old now?) that paired up instantly for me. Haven't had any issues with it or UConnect.

Exactly what I was pointing out a couple of posts back. It seems the older versions of bluetooth are recognized better by Uconnect. Uconnect is an odd mixture of things. Some things are the latest technology while its internal phone system is outdated 3G technology. My salesman has an expensive iPhone and has all kinds of problems using it with Uconnect while my inexpensive (and probably dated technology) Tracfone works perfectly.

I think you missed our point. There isn't anything you can do except take your new phone back and get one that has a version of bluetooth that will work with Uconnect.

Thanks!

Maybe you should search for a phone or UConnect site that deals with your particular issue?

People here can explain what phones they have that work, or what problems they have between their particular phone and UConnect... just like you're doing. There are plenty of threads about it but no real answers.

You're welcome!

LOL, BTW... do I dare ask how you know about or what it is you're doing on the site you linked for us?

No one likes a douche. Think about that next time you're asking for help.

We told you what your problem is; your LG phone sucks.

Lol ok. I'm a douche when you're the one getting into some silly teenage "zomg your phone sucks" as if yer some 18 yr old kid.

Has nothing to do with any phone sucking and more to do with my phone being newer than our uconnect technology. Nice try though.

My LG P-700 was a 2 year old phone, and it never synced up right to either of my two 2014 Jeeps.

Face it, you wasted your money on a turd of a phone. Should've got the Samsung S4 or S5.

Thank you for playing.

Re: Bluetooth pairing with LG G3 not working?

Great. Now i'm glad you are done with the thread. Perfect right kiddo? I'm not really interested in what you think of the cell phone I use. Lol, I hate responding to nonsense. Makes it feel like my IQ dropped a few points just from reading your posts. Then again, I'm proud of you for figuring out how to use the bold in your post. Great job!

Now back to an adult conversation.
