Brake scrape noise

Getting a scraping noise on my passenger side of the jeep while I'm cursing around 20 mph or below. When i hit the brakes, the noise stops, but when i let off of them the noise continues as the jeep moves. Ive looked at the dust shield but its far away from the rotor. Any ideas? I haven't taken a look at the pads yet and the noise comes and goes

Unlikely but possible if the caliper was sticking.

I doubt the caliper is sticking, not noticing any pulling to one side

May not be retracting fully. Typically there's enough wobble in the rotor to retract the pads back enough so they don't touch at all. A pad that lightly touches may produce a scraping noise. Wear indicators tend to be an annoying squeak.

One possibility if you mud/water above wheel level is something between the pad and the rotor.

Have you popped the front end into the air with wheels straight ahead and compared the left/right noise level by spinning the tire? A dental mirror and led light might help check the clearance and compare on both sides.
