Re: Broken Window
I went to pick up the jeep from the body shop on Saturday morning and upon inspecting the so called repair they did i noticed the below:
1) Aftermarket glass with "Tampered" logo - Which is not original. Will put OEM glass now.
2) the silver trim that goes around the window was scratched. Was not like that when i dropped it off so leads me to believe when they took it off while re-painting door they may have placed on the ground and scraped it when they picked it up or placed something on top of it that scraped it.
3) The rubber seal i assume for water not to go in through the window was poorly put back on.
4) Opposite side of the break - in Black vertical molding(glossy one) appears to have an imperfection as if it was dented from the inside. THAT WAS NOT THERE WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF.
I noticed all this before i left the body shop and went in to tell the manager about these issues. Guy said to bring it in Monday so they can begin with repairing said issues. (received warranty from body shop so they are repairing these issues under warrant with them)
Dropped off jeep yesterday morning and get a call later in the afternoon indicating all was done except the opposite side black vertical molding which they needed an extra part that they would receive today. They put me in a rental so i should be picking up the jeep today after work and i'll drop off the rental.
