Buy at Lease End

Folks
I have a leased 2012 Grand Cherokee with 2 payments left with Ally Auto.
As I like the GC I have, my preference would be to buy at Lease End.
Ally Auto refer me back to my original dealer or would take cash.
Can anybody provide me with best current Finance options and rates rather than cash outlay to keep the vehicle.
Residual value is $22500 and I am located in Central NJ.
Thanks

Don't know what bank you use, I use Wells Fargo. They have about a 3.5-3.7 interest rate for a lease buy out. for 22.5k you looking about $400 a month for 60 months. Shop around for a lower rate.

Is Ally also hitting you with the $2500 buyout fee?

Yea definitely check, it was on mine when I leased my 2011 and a few other that leased thru Ally too. I did hear though they may have stopped it in 2012 so you may be good.

Nothing shown on the Lease. Ally also never mentioned it when I spoke with them. It looks as if I will go with BofA who are offering 2.49%.

Re: Buy at Lease End

Just might mention that whether the residual value mentioned is a good deal depends on how the Jeep is equipped and which model it is. I trust you have taken that into account.
