Get your money back if you can. You can get it online (chryslerfactoryplans.com) for $670 vs. the $900 you paid. It's plan code WM660N for 6yr/60K Maxcare $100 deductible.

I don't see a need to cancel it - if anything .... extend to 100k bumper to bumper.
It's not horrible but it's not good either. He can save an additional $325 or 36%.

You can get a quote from chryslerwarrantys.com and compare, if it is close enough you got a decent deal. You can purchase the warranty anytime in the first 12 months, maybe longer, so you do not have to rush into it unless you want to finance the warranty as part of the car deal..
Use chryslerfactoryplans.com...it's the cheapest of the three online sites that offer the warranties.

You can usually purchase the extended warranty just before your factory warranty is up.
Sorry but that's not true. You can only purchase it before 48 months or 48K whichever occurs first. If you purchase after 12 months, you pay an additional $150 fee. You should definitely purchase the warranty up front to save some money.

I think this is incorrect assuming we are talking about Ext. waranty from Chrysler. You can purchase it before your basic warranty expires, which is 36,000 miles/36 months. I paid $1,800 for lifetime warranty with $100 deductible.

He is correct. You have up to 48k/48 months to purchase your warranty from the in service date of the vehicle. Which is odd, because you could find something broken after the initial 3yr/36k but before 4 years and then buy the warranty.

I purchased a lifetime maxcare on my the one year old wk I bought.

Re: Cancel Extended Service Contract

I got the coverage for life of the vehicle... it was like $1500 maybe 2 grand, any ways I can cancel anytime up to seven years after the purchase date and get a pro rated amount back. It also has a 100 deductible but covers rental car so I figure if the Jeep is in the shop for more than three days I get my deductible back. The ONLY reason I got it was because of the quadra lift/drive I figure if either of those go out any time I own the vehicle after 3 years it was worth the extra money.
