Can't turn on Stero after Battery went flat

G'day from Australia!

Recently, my car battery went flat so I got it jump started and back on the road again. It's very new, so it will be booked in for a service to find out why the battery drained when I have only owned the car for 3 months.

The Stereo is the uconnect system 431. Since the battery went flat, I can't turn it on. In my dash display, I can see a message saying "Radio Off".

Is there something I have to do to activate it, because I assume some sort of anti theft thing has kicked in and has stopped it from being used.

Thanks in advance.
Guy

Re: Can't turn on Stero after Battery went flat

I had the same problem after the dreaded flat battery issue. ( Jeep have an electrical module upgrade to fix the flat battery problem.) To get my radio going again, I used the remote key, and locked and unlocked my car 3 times. (Jeep Roadside Assist mentioned this to me on a previous call). It fixed the radio and also reactivated my reversing camera which had also stopped operating. Worth a try.
