Check engine

Hi everyone
My wk2 2012 v6 running 68.000km
Working well but today the check engine indicater light become on
So
How can i diagnos the trouble ?

First you need a scanner to ideantify the fault code. Without that all we know is that something triggered it.

You need an inexpensive ODB reader to read the check engine code. Some auto parts stores have ODB readers and will check your codes for free.

what is the warranty on these rigs suppose the light ends up being the head issue will they still cover it thats 42250 miles right

It is common for an engine light to set and then clears on its own. After a few ignition cycles it clears if it was an intermittent condition. Used to be common for a loose gas cap to do this. You can still use an ODB reader to retrieve the stored code if interested.
