Check Engine Light - Intermittent

Over the last week or so, my check engine light has come on, survived several restarts over a day or two, then went out for few days.

The light came back on today, no other indicators or symptoms.

Any way to determine the trouble codes in a WK2 like I can in my 2000 JGC?

Thanks!

Re: Check Engine Light - Intermittent

You need a OBD-2 code scanner. Autozone may let you use one. I have a dongle and a tablet I keep in my car that can do all.

Re: Check Engine Light - Intermittent

Ouchie. Left cylinder head needs replacing!

Dealer's got it now, back on Thursday.
