Chrysler Maximum Care Warranty

I got this letter in the mail about it today. I was kicking it around in my head recently so I actually read over the letter. Sounded good. Did some internet research and still sounded good. Called them, and still sounded good. So, I went for it. My Jeep is now covered unlimited time and mileage for $3,300. I drive about 25K a year for work and love the space and size of the car so it's def. worth it for me. Curious if anyone has any good or bad to add to their experience with this warranty. Looks like it doesn't cover wear items, which is to be expected.

Re: Chrysler Maximum Care Warranty

I have the same policy through Chrysler/Jeep, with $100 deductible per visit.

I purchased mine when my Wrangler was 18 months old, for $2,665 from my Dealer.
You paid a very high price for yours....

Re: Chrysler Maximum Care Warranty

I wonder if a lot of the calculation is based on model year, type, options ...etc.

Each truck/car can't all be the same number. I wouldn't think.

First off, search this site a bit ... you will find a few sites that are MUCH cheaper.

You didn't state what your deductible is, but most get the MaxCare lifetime with $100 deductible for about $2300.

For example:

Good luck.

Re: Chrysler Maximum Care Warranty

Dependent on year, mileage, and if you still were in the mfg warranty period. You definitely should have searched this forum since there has been detailed discussions about the MaxCare warranty and where to get the best deal. I picked up my Unlimited MaxCare w/ $100 deductible from Ziegler for around $2300. However, I have a 2014 and it was under 12K miles when I pulled the trigger for the warranty. I drive 30K per year and this was a must have for me.

Cheers!

Should've, but didn't. I checked around on google and such and the prices I was seeing on other Chrysler forums were more than I was quoted. Regardless, I wasn't inquiring about a price comparison on this forum. I was more looking for information on denied claims, shadyness, annoyances, or something great that made the entire warranty worth it. My company pays the tab on the vehicle so if I spent a bit extra on the warranty, I'm not going to lose any sleep.

The free rental thats at dealer waiting for me when i drop my jeep off for work is my favorite feature on it so far. Since jeep does not typically do loaners regardless of how new your jeep might be, the free rental with maxcare is a good perk. Used it about 10 times so far and never a dime out of pocket and always get a like vehicle to what i bring in no small econobox junk cars. I just tell the dealer i want one with service and they take care of reserving and paying for it. I paid $2100 with 100 deductable for maxcare life.

Re: Chrysler Maximum Care Warranty

The MaxCare warranty you guys are talking about, is this direct from the factory? I saw another thread where people were saying that they went online to those sites and got quotes and took them to their dealer and some dealers gave them actual Mopar/Chrysler warranties for the same price. People were saying its best to always get the warranty direct from the factory....

Maxcare is the chysler extended factory warranty. You can buy it from your dealer or online. 3rd party warranties not related to chysler are the ones to stay clear of they are almost always problems.
