Chrysler wiTECH or equivalent

Folks,

Is there a way we can get our hands on wiTECH tool or equivalent? I see a bunch of things being available from our friends in Asia on eBay but I'm not sure if:
1. this works at all
2. the version that they have seems old so probably not good enough for WK2

I've seen a download for Chrysler wiTECH v16.04.10 Multilanguage but I doubt that is going to work w/o hardware.

I've seen similar tools being available (for reasonable price) for BMW, Audi and Land Rover. Like this for example:
http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/
http://www.rswsolutions.com

Again, I'm not looking to do software flashes, etc. ... just to do some extended analysis on the issues beyond what simple OBDII scanner can offer. Maybe to do some adjustment etc. or just to be able to follow the procedures in factory service manual.

Found some interesting info here: http://www.ebay.com/gds/Chrysler-Sta...4811396/g.html

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I'm interested in doing a few things.
