Clicking noise passenger area

When I am driving I hear a clicking sound that is similar to the click heard when turning on the heated steering wheel or heated seat or hitting the window up button. It is coming from the passenger side/glove compartment area. It does this regardless of whether the HVAC is on. I did notice that my heat comes out ridiculously hot..hotter than the set temperature. This is on a 2014 GC Overland with Hemi. It just started today and I updated to 13.48.3 last week. Any ideas?

My hemi limited does the same thing. I assumed I was just hearing a relay, thats in the cab under the dash, for the seat/steering wheel heater turn on. Never really thought it was an issue. Curious to see what any one else has to say.

Re: Clicking noise passenger area

It will make the noise constantly every few seconds. Think I will try to reload the software and then go to the dealer if necessary.

Re: Clicking noise passenger area

I had my windows tinted and it seems the door was a little loose and causing noises that resembled a relay click. The issue seemed to get resolved with a few hard pushes to get the door set back properly.

Re: Clicking noise passenger area

Could you please elaborate on what part of the door was loose? I am having the exact same issue and it's driving me nuts. I was thinking it was the solenoid shorting or the passenger window switch or something...

Re: Clicking noise passenger area

Where the door lock is and the door handle. I just gave the entire door a couple smacks to tighten the clips.
