Climate control temperature?

I'm a new owner of a 2012 JGC Laredo X Package. So far I really like the vehicle. One issue I've noticed is that with the climate control I need to have set the temperature way higher to feel comfortable on winter days. What I mean is that where is my previous car I set the climate control to 68 and would be comfortable. On this jeep I need to set it to a minimum of 75, sometimes 77 to stay warm on my ride. Now producing heat doesn't seem to be the issue, if I manually set the fan speed I get plenty of warm air. It's almost as if the temp sensor is too close to a vent or just off by 5-7 degrees. I'm not someone who is cold, so this just has me very puzzled. Doesn't anyone else seem to have this issue?

Or, maybe your previous car was inaccurate. I'm not saying that's absolutely the case, but it could be.

68 is not very warm at all. I need somewhere around 70 or higher to feel comfortable, even in my house.

Having said that, I find the Jeep gets cold very quickly when the engine is off compared to my F-150. Perhaps there's just more heat loss. Do you have a sunroof?

For what it's worth, I keep my system set at 70 because I'm usually wearing a heavy jacket when it's cold. Any warmer and I get too hot with the winter stuff on.

I do have a sunroof as I did on my last vehicle. I imagine there is quite a bit more heat loss, I'm coming from a 5 series. To be comfortable even with a sweater on in the jeep I need to set to 75-76.
