My '14 SRT has the same issue. Noticed it the first night. Took pics. It's going in Monday to repair the push to start button and a few other things I've noticed the first week home. I'll mention the headlights just to have it documented.

It IS irritating. My old 2011 Summit (traded for the SRT) and current 2013 Overland never had an issue. I know the '14s are a completely new headlamp design...we'll see if there will be any lasting damage.

I had condensation in my headlights the first day I picked up. I told myself I would be taking it back to the dealer when/if it came back, but even after some good Florida rain storms the fogging has stayed away.

Re: Condensation in headlights

I picked my new 2014 CRD Summit yesterday. Here in Rome it was lightly raining. I noticed the same problem. This morning is sunny, I checked the car and the condensation is still there. It appears exactly as the first photo in the TSB showed in the previous post.

The 2012 CRD Overland I traded in never had this problem.

Garage
This has been covered 1 million times on here. ....The wk2 has vented headlights. ...they may fog from time to time due to weather conditions. It is normal.

This is the answer its normal. These are vented headlights and as the tsb says as long as it clears up its normal. I don't what people think the dealer is going to be able to do about a condition that is normal?

Not to mention that you see the same condition and posts on BMW and audi forums among others. It's a result of having additional heat that needs to be dealt with.

Although Chrysler says it's normal, I've never had this issue with my Lexus. Not once.

Re: Condensation in headlights

Run with the headlights on for an hour or so. If that doesn't clear it up, a visit to the dealer is in order.

And not every Jeep owner sees it either.
