Condensation In Headlights/ LEDS

Hi I just picked up my 2014 JGC LIMITED 4x4 last week and the very first day I was parking it I noticed condensation (moisture) inside the headlight. I know this can't be normal, did anyone have a similar issue or can give me some feedback?? I wasnt expecting much from American engineering but the first day??? Come on lol

Re: Condensation In Headlights/ LEDS

They are not sealed. It will dry, and may come back depending on the weather. There are a number of threads on the topic.

Congrats on the new Jeep

Re: Condensation In Headlights/ LEDS

Bill's correct. It is normal. If it doesn't clear up, or happens all the time, take it to your dealer. There have been a few instances where headlight assemblies have been replaced for chronic condensation. Enjoy your new Jeep. One question... If you weren't expecting much from American engineers, why did you buy the Jeep? Just curious.

Re: Condensation In Headlights/ LEDS

Thanks for all the feedback guys! Personally, I'm 6'5" 230lbs and the new JGC feels like it was taylor made for me. I just got rid of a Lexus GS350 that I had for 3 years and my back was suffering from that little thing. I decided to go Jeep for the overall of size, 4x4, and bang for the buck! I got the 14' Limited with LUX II, tech, almost all the bells and whistles for 475$ a month compared to the Lexus that was 600+ per month.

Re: Condensation In Headlights/ LEDS

the new 14' headlights are vented lamps...they will clear up when it warms up a tad or humidity levels out.
