D Side/P Side Window Speed?

Not sure if anyone has noticed but does anyone else who owns a 2014 Ecodiesel have slow moving window speeds? My Nissan Cubes windows are lightning fast when compared to our GC's.

I noticed the windows move slower than some of the other cars I have had. Is what it is, not a real issue for me.

Re: D Side/P Side Window Speed?

Faster than my Buick Enclave. Probably has to do with the regulator gearing.

ktech35 is just really nice
Re: D Side/P Side Window Speed?

I do not think that's anything out of the ordinary. Every vehicle on the road has different window glass size/weight, different window motors and regulators, and lastly length of wiring runs.

This can account for changes in window speed between cars and in many cases even between left/right and front/rear windows in the same car. While I've been working in automotive, I've never met a window engineer to ask about the thought put in here, but I'd bet a lot of it is very arbitrary.
