Dead QL, tow/haul mode, park assist, ESC and compass

typing from a truck stop so no searching. All was good yesterday. This morning hooked up camper and went to leave and noticed compass wasn't working. Hit the tow mode button and nothing. Went to put it in sport mode and nothing. Suspension adjustment is dead too.

Tried looking at fuses and none seemed blown. Pulled and reinstalled all of the silver "relays" from the fuse box under the hood. No change.

Any ideas?

Re: Dead OR2, tow/haul mode, park assist and compass

Here's an update since we're off the road for the night.

All was good yesterday. Today, none of the systems noted are working. The entire selector panel for mode (auto, sport, lift, 4low) is dead. The entire panel with traction control, tow mode, inverter, etc is dead except for flashers. The compass is reading "--".

Everything else is good. EVIC, climate, radio all work. Transmission seems harsher going from park to reverse t drive. May be in my head though.

The rear end is at full height. When driving, the display says "aero mode" when above 65. The park assist system is turned off - that was how it was set yesterday. I am able to keep Eco mode off by putting transmission in drive drive then moving selector until display says "6". I'm selecting "3" on large hills because the camper is attached.

It is running ok except for the issues noted. Still headed to San Diego and have an appt on Tuesday. I disconnected battery this morning for 5 minutes without change. Going to disconnect tonight for an hour and hope that resets everything.

Any ideas?

Re: Dead OR2, tow/haul mode, park assist and compass

The dealer south of San Diego determined that the GC needs a "command module" replaced, which is part of the instrument cluster. 3-5 day repair since it needs to be sent to Chrysler for coding. I declined the repair there since we wouldn't be there long enough. Drove it home with the camper attached and arrived last night.

Re: Dead OR2, tow/haul mode, park assist and compass

We dropped the GC off at our dealer on 7/9 since we would be out of town for two weeks, giving them plenty of time to fix it. After dragging their feet, they determined the same thing as the San Diego dealer and got it repaired. They said it was whatever controls the CAN-Bus communication. I also had them change the spark plugs since it was at 30k.

Since they took so long (18 days total), they set us up with a loaner for the last 4 days. I told them we had a camping trip planned and needed something capable of hauling our travel trailer. They gave us a '15 Ram 2500 CC; more than adequate.

In your case, what's behind you isn't the issue - the Jeep is...
