Defrost seems to blow harder/ get louder when taking off from a stop

One of two problems fixed..

Went to repair both actuators and they are good, but both gears were broken into pieces.. have to get one more gear for the passengers side at the dealer tomorrow, then will recalibrate , then put all the pieces back together and hopefully it lasts for at least another 60k miles.

But a quick question , that might be answered after I get both blend doors back in and calibrated.

I noticed when I leave from a stop sign or lower rpm , the defrost seems to surge , ( or get louder, blow harder ) for a few seconds then drops back down. Is it something with the heater , blower, vacuum lines?

So pumped the get the new actuator doors on and be done, and now this weird issue.. thankfully the gears went on easier than expected , but hoping I don't have to now trace down vacuum lines...

And help advice or link would be greatly appreciated..

Is your voltage rising a bit when you come off idle?
If so, you might be seeing the result of that...

I'll have to check. It's the girlfriends Jeep, so I haven't had a chance to tinker with it other than finding the actuator /gears. It shouldn't be dropping or raising voltage much anyways just leaving from a start tho..Depending on when the alt feeds it more amperage may be a sign.. but it doesn't always do it.

Got this thing like 3 weeks ago from a dealer and it's been nothing but a headache since. Both actuator gears, that surging, a random rough idle, the rear wiper motor appears to be shot even tho it's in mint condition as is the rest of the vehicle. Not a good first experience. Just clicked 60k on the odometer

I'm trying to look for a vacuum diagram, that would pertain to the HVAC as well as a rough idle or some similar results. But not having much luck.

I'm all ears if anyone has ideas!!

Possible bad battery or alternator. Do the headlights dim while at idle?
