You actually believed that crap? This vehicle was rushed to market at least 6 months before it should have been. That's why there are so many equipment and option problems. Just wait until a myriad of problems start with the new V6.

A special thanks to all of you who are "testing" this vehicle for those of us who are waiting 8 or more months before ordering.

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem?

Whatever you say, Ed. The vehicle wasn't rushed out. Chrysler was set to release it in 2009 as a 2010 model, but when Marchionne saw the interior it was going to be released with, it got delayed by a full year to allow for a proper interior to be designed. Furthermore, under Fiat's control this Jeep saw much, much more testing than any Chrysler product in recent decades.

Yea right...That's why there is already a problem with shudder and the dashboard covering separating from the plastic windshield vent ...and let's not mention that many options and colors were delayed and half of you who have already ordered don't really know what equipment your vehicle will arrive with...just read this forum and there is no doubt that Jeep/Chrysler/Fiat is still FUBAR. Don't drink the kool aid from those on this site who have a financial interest in the success of this company.

ed, i thought you were buying a muran-ho? the upside to the owning that rat on wheels is that it runs off of cheese instead of gasoline.

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem?

Easy, Ed, easy.

This vehicle was nowhere near rushed. I'd love to hear why you believe this? Truthfully, it was held back for review, along with the 300 and Dodge Charger, all 3 have been refined, tweaked, and changed further than their original development with Cerberus and Daimler.

Oh, and Chrysler's new Management, courtesy of Fiat, has even had their hand in the new 2011 Sebring and Avenger!

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem?

easy ed...Im sure there will be some bugs..as there are with almost all new models of any brand. However, most reviews from a ton of reputable sites are overwhelmingly positive. If you dont want or trust this vehicle...go with another brand. To sit on this site, which is extremely helpful, and bash the car without reason is really unnecessary.

The question, in regards to the instrument panels, is exactly WHY are you mad at CHRYSLER for SUPPLIER PROBLEMS?

When you purchase any product you don't trace it back to the myriad of suppliers if you have a problem. Chrysler warranties the vehicle not the hundreds of people who have manufactured it.

Okay, but these issues were not caused by Chrysler.

That's just the way it is.

In the case of the shudder.... ehhh.... yeah. But as previously said, it's a first model year vehicle. You can do as much testing as you want, problems will show up. That is what warranties are for. To fix them. Would you rather be in a world with no warranties? That's how it used to be back in the day. If your vehicle broke, even with 250 miles on it, you fixed it out of your own pocket.
