Milous
You like superman give us the answers the dealers and jeep customer service know nothing about. Anytime I ask they say Huuuhhh Duuuh I don't know and act as if its unreasonable to ask such questions. You on the other hand always have a reasonable response to all the inquiries.

Thanks superman you single handedly saving Jeep u should be CEO

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem? 2011 Shudder problems thread

I had my jeep into the shop yesterday in an attempt to have the front axle isolator replaced. I had TSB 21-004-10a performed on 9/2/10 and it reduced the problem but didn't eliminate it. In my write-up yesterday for the service department, I referenced "Star Case # S1021000002." At the end of the day the service manager told me he couldn't reproduce the problem and that the star case was not yet available to them in their computer. :-/ He suggested that I bring it back once the star case reaches TSB status and try again then. Frustrating.

That is what I fear I am going to get from my dealer. I can feel it since I drive it everyday, but just for someone taking it out for a quick spin will not really pay attention to it.

It still makes no sense. As Ive stated a million times, I have 2wd and it "shudders" Like crazy. At 40MPH I feel like im driving over a wash-board! This problem is FAR from solved and I am spitting nails here!!!!!

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem? 2011 Shudder problems thread

Actually I should clarify that my Limited (Early build date of July) does have the shudder and my Larado X doesn't (build date of early September) Since I have them both I can tell the difference pretty easily. My Larado shifts smoother too; not to say the Limited has a problem (It doesn't) but the Larado is smoother in shifts.

My limited is going in for the re-flash next week, they ordered a new computer (brain) as he said that sometimes the existing unit wont except the flash.

Are they both 5.7L? I've noticed that mine does not shift as smoothly as it did when it was new. I blame this on my driving. It's a learning transmission and I don't do a good job of teaching it. Somtimes I drive like a pep-pep, other times it give it the beans. And other times still I drive it with the auto-stick and don't shift until 4500 RPM. I have a feeling if I were to reset the transmission's memory it would shift smoothly again.

On my '02 4.7HO disconnecting the battery resets the transmission's memory... Haven't got our WK2 yet so I don't know if it saves the data in nonvolatile memory or not.
