Does this look right?

I've had my 2014 JGC Summit with Hemi for about 3 months now, and I finally got around to do a check on things, and I noticed this, in the area underneath the glove box near the kick panel. The gray cover seems to be out of place, and a piece of it is hanging out from behind the kick panel, and part of some wiring is exposed. I tried to push the wiring down some but its pretty stiff and does not have any give, so I assume its supposed to be right where it is. But I don't think the gray cover is in its correct position. Can anyone please provide pics of this area in your 2014 JGC? Not sure if there are differences in this area between the different trim levels, so please especially post pics if possible if you have a 2014 JGC Summit. Thanks!

The edges of the piece hanging down should tuck in behind that plastic on the right. push up on it and tuck it in it should not be hanging down like that.

Thank you silvermax! Will do! My OCD may just have me take a trip to the dealer, if no pics get posted, lol.

don't make a special trip to the dealer for that, just put your hand on that piece of felt and stuff the edges under there should take about 10 seconds

I shouldve clarified my last post, lol. I just wanted to be sure that tucking that part hanging down is the way other 2014 JGC's are. lol. Otherwise my OCD will get the best of me! lol!

Typerod, my Summit also had that same situation. Noticed it a few hours after getting it home. Did exactly what silvermax04 said. It fit in nicely and I never thought about it again. Obviously something overlooked in prep.

Thank you John! Once I tuck that end of that one piece as Silvermax has said, do I need to push up on the bottom (tube like) piece, and tuck that up as well? Tucking the corner makes sense, but that lower rounded seems to have no reason to be rounded and hanging that low, so I'm wondering now does that need to be pushed up as well? Where are my meds.....lol jk!

Re: Does this look right?

No, the rounded part remains visible. Don't give it another thought.

Mine had the same exact thing. I just pushed it back up in there myself.

Thanks for chiming in! Much appreciated! As soon as I get home from work, I'm all over it, lol. I hope that small light gray piece is just some folded over carpet that just got caught folder over by the kick panel.
