Does your fuel door sit flush?

On my 2014 it sits fairly flush on the bottom half but sticks out a bit on the top half.

Mine's flush. Take it to the dealer.

Re: Does your fuel door sit flush?

Mine is flush as well. Doesn't look as if there is any way to adjust the door, as the hinge and door are plastic, so it can't be bent. See what the dealer says.

Re: Does your fuel door sit flush?

Upon further inspection, it's flush everwhere except the top right corner opposite the hinges. I can push it in a bit and then it sits flush, but then when I let off the pressure it goes back to how it was.

I'll add this to my list of things for my dealer to work on when I finally take it in.

Jeeperscreepers, did you get this sorted out? If so, would you mind sharing how it was repaired?

Re: Does your fuel door sit flush?

I just took the Jeep to the dealer for this (and some other issues) today. When I pointed out some of the other issues he already was trying to lower my expectations by saying things like "it can't be perfect" and "they're built by machines not by hand" so we'll see what happens, but my fingers are crossed.

Because they ARE built by machine, they should be perfect.

Mine is not flush so let me know what they say. I had need said anything about it when I was in. Figured they would blow me off. Plus not sure how they would fix

They would probably grab it in both hands and try to twist it.

Best let them do it in case it come off in their hands.

Yeah, I was thinking this after the fact. Of course, in the moment I didn't think to say it.
