I usually use the manual fan mode until it's nice and warm and then set it to auto with a lower more comfortable temp. If it does blow cooler air to maintain the auto setting then you could be right. Maybe I just need a better understanding of exactly how the climate control behaves. I will try a few different things over the next couple days and report back with my findings.
It seems like it blows colder air and never stops.

Re: Draft under seats

I have similar problem. I feel a cold draft on the right thigh. Looks like it's coming from the central console. Is it worth to ask dealer to check the duct inside the central console? Thanks.

Re: Draft under seats

Today's HVAC TSB doesn't appear to resolve this, but it wouldn't hurt to get the flash, anyway, to see for sure.

Re: Draft under seats

I also live in Edmonton and I find my legs/feet are quite cold until I switch only into the feet mode. On face/feet mode, it barely blows enough warm air to warm up the feet. I also feel that draft. Hmm....

My '06 Overland did a better job warming up my feet and face at the same time.

Future TSB update for a faster fan setting at the feet level?

I don't think higher fan speed is needed. I think what's needed is "never blow cold air on the feet" logic.

Re: Draft under seats

I notice it as well (drivers side). Thought I was missing some weather stripping or seal around the doors...

Battery is the passenger side.
