Re: Driver memory lost, and now no Easy Eentry/Exit Seats

Thank you for this post as I too had the same problem and was going to take the Jeep to the dealership. I turned off easy entry/exit, moved the seat forward/back and it's resolved the problem.

Re: Driver memory lost, and now no Easy Eentry/Exit Seats

A bunch of "thank yous" to Rockraines. Ditto on the "easy entry/exit" problem. I have been serching the web for a month looking for a solution. Last week, I took it to my Jeep dealer, who couldn't get it to work eithher. I have an appointment tommorrow early for the techs to look at it. Now I can cancel it. Like MR291 mentioned: this should be in the manual. Thanks again

Thanks guys, worked great for me, now if I could only get my push start and passive entry to work.

Change the battery in the key fob?

Re: Driver memory lost, and now no Easy Eentry/Exit Seats

Tried that, all three remotes are doing the same thing, must have lost the signal or something. I'll have to take it to the dealer to reprogram with a bunch of TSB's that I want to have installed

Hello all. This is my first Jeep ever, switching from Hondas. I've have three problems with the 2014 GC Limited bedsides the issues with the dealership. The key fobs wouldn't program....fixed the problem from here. The second is the easy exit/ entry I'll try from this post. The last involves my Bluetooth and SD card. They both went out while listening to songs on the SD card. I fixed the blue tooth problem by going into settings and manually turning on the Bluetooth. The SD card eventually started working again......after removing and reinstalling it several time. The software is the 13.33.7 version.

Re: Driver memory lost, and now no Easy Eentry/Exit Seats

Glad I searched for this issue and found a resolution to the issue. I just started having this issue last week and was ready to schedule an appointment with the dealer, but unchecked the easy exit settings, moved the driver seat all the way forward, and checked the option back on with everything resuming normal operations.

Re: Driver memory lost, and now no Easy Eentry/Exit Seats

I'm having a similar problem. My easy exit seats have a problem. It will still work and go back but only if my seat position is pretty much full forward. If the seat memory is saved so far forward that I can't even fit. Then the seat will move back once I turn the jeep off.

I have done the reset of cycling full forward to full back countless times over the last 6 months to no avail. I've measured the travel of the seat numerous times as well. I can move it full back, the move the seat like 3" forward or more. Save the setting. Yet the seat still won't move when the car is turned off.

The dealership has flashed it a couple times but that never seems to get any change.

Is there anything else I can do short of replacing the seat module.

Awesome thread! I had the same problem with easy/exit seat - just stopped working for, what seemed, no reason at all. I was just about to head to dealer, but saw this thread! Fixed the problem and saved me a trip!!
