Driver Side Front Turn Signal
I've lurked for a while, finally had something to ask/contribute.
My current and fourth Jeep Grand Cherokee is a 2015 Limited with Luxury II Group, acquired in March, and has 850 miles on the clock. Among other things, this package includes the adaptive HIDs and LED lights.
Last week, I frequently began getting a message on the driver display screen that the "Driver Front Turn Signal Is Out". However, it is not. If I immediately put on the turn signal, I get the rapid blink that usually denotes a blinker is out. If I wait a few seconds and put the turn signal on, it works perfectly fine. But then after another minute, the chime and the message appear again. Then the cycle repeats itself. The entire headlight assembly is LED. Im sure there's a short, bad relay, loose connection, or hopefully not an entirely bad headlight assembly.
So, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and wouldn't mind sharing their experience before investigating myself and eventually making a service appointment, since I have the displeasure of my closest Jeep dealer being nothing short of atrocious and I'd rather eat a bowl of rusty nails than deal with them.
