Dual climate control issue?

I noticed that the passenger side vents blows warmer than the driver side even though they are set at the same temperature.

It was 3 degrees out and I set it the temperature to 20 degrees on both sides and the driver side blows cool air and the passenger side is warm air, to get them to match I have the set the passenger side down 2 degrees.

Not a big issue but I don't think this is normal. Anyone else have such an issue?

Re: Dual climate control issue?

If the sun was hitting one side of the car, the sensors on that side could be getting a different reading. Acura actually uses GPS to determine where the sun should be based on your location and direction to make some adjustments to the system.

Or, you may just have a problem.

Re: Dual climate control issue?

It could be since the heater is on the passenger side and the air has to be ducted over to the driver side.
