Eco mode default

I just test drove a 2015 Overland HA and the default mode for the eco mode on start up seems to be OFF, unlike my 2014 Limited where the default was ON. Am I correct in this, and is that fix now retroactively available to my 2014? Can the quadralift system be set so that it doesn't raise and lower every time you park or drive? Thanks

This was changed in the 2015 models. The vehicle now remembers whether you have the ECO mode On or Off. There was talk of a TSB for the 2014 models to enable this behavior but I don't remember if it actual worked as others expected. To my knowledge this function is only available on 2015+ models.

I believe the QL behavior can be set to lower to "Park/Exit" height once the transmission is put into "Park" via the UConnect system (Settings - Suspension - Auto Entry/Exit Suspension).

However, there is no way to change how the QL behaves at certain speeds other then being in one of the specific drive modes (Snow, Sand, Mud, or Rock).

Re: Eco mode default

Thanks, that's very helpful. The reason that I was asking about the enter /exit height is that it seems like a lot of unnecessary wear and tear. I'd be happy just to have it stay at ride height all the time.

Re: Eco mode default

Ha. That's what I thought until I tried the exit height. The difference is noticeable. I do not have it set to Auto as it does not start to lower until you are in park. I push the button so it is lowered by the time I put it in park.

Re: Eco mode default

Ok, I get it. If it's not set to auto enter /exit, it will stay at ride height unless you manually select enter/exit. Thanks

If you hit the button while you are slowing down it will wait you are below about 15mph before it starts to lower. See owners manual. Have fun.
