ECO mode question

I was really disliking the ECO mode on my 2014 Limited and turned it off all the time. It seemed to shift out too soon and generally made things not as much fun to drive. I decided to see what kind of MPG I could get leaving it on and after a while to my surprise it seemed to evolve into a firmer more responsive kind of shift pattern and acceleration. Is it my imagination or does this function have the ability to "learn" my preferred method of driving? Just curious, Thanks

Re: ECO mode question

The transmission is adaptive, and will learn your driving habits. From day one, I've never taken it out of eco mode, and it shifts as though I've set up the programming myself.

Re: ECO mode question

very helpful, as usual. Thanks I thought that the trans was adaptive, just wasn't sure if ECO had it's own agenda that over rid that ability
