Re: Engine stall Whilst Driving
This is a common problem in the WK. It was normally caused by a lack of oil pressure in the transmission odly enough. It happened to my 05 wk many times. I spoke with a jeep master technician who told me to slightly overfill the transmission fluid by about 1/4 to 1/2 of a quart. As skeptical as I was to do this I did it and the problem went away. That was almost 40k miles ago. He said that some times when new or just after a transmission flush there is not enough fluid put in and it cause a lack of pressure and it makes it stall out. Adding the fluid brings it to where its supposed to be and fixed the issue. He said adding a little extra fluid to a trans that is perfectly filled won't hurt anything as long as you don't over do it.
